This policy explains what Maud Moon does with your personal data. It applies to maudmoon.com and to this store.

Who we are

Maud Moon is a trading name operated from the Netherlands. For any privacy question, write to hello@maudmoon.com.

What we collect

Order data: your name, email address, delivery address, phone number if you give one, and what you ordered.
Payment data: handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
Account data: only if you choose to create an account.
Marketing data: your email address, if you ask us to write to you.
Technical data: pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location from your IP address.

Why we use it

To take payment, produce and deliver your order, answer your messages, meet our legal and tax obligations, keep the store secure, and, only with your consent, send you occasional email about new work.

Who we share it with

Only with the parties needed to fulfil your order: our ecommerce platform, our payment provider, our print and fulfilment partners, and the carrier delivering your parcel. Some of these are outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for seven years, which Dutch tax law requires. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it. Support messages are kept for two years.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to it, or take it elsewhere. Email hello@maudmoon.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the store to work, such as keeping your basket. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time.
