These terms apply to every order placed with Maud Moon.
1. Who you are contracting with
Maud Moon is a trading name operated from the Netherlands. Contact: hello@maudmoon.com.
2. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. The contract exists once we send you an order confirmation by email. We may refuse an order if a product is unavailable, if there is an obvious pricing error, or if we cannot deliver to your address.
3. Prices
Prices are shown including VAT where applicable and exclude any import duties charged by your own country. We may change prices at any time, but never for an order already confirmed.
4. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. Your order enters production once payment clears.
5. Made to order
Every piece is produced after you order. Production takes 5 to 8 working days. Delivery estimates are given on the shipping page and are estimates, not guarantees.
6. Cancellation and returns
Because each item is made to your specification, the standard EU right of withdrawal does not apply once production has begun. You may cancel for a full refund before production starts. Damaged, faulty or incorrect items are replaced free of charge. Full detail is on the returns page.
7. Risk and ownership
Risk passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes once payment has been received in full.
8. Intellectual property
Every design, image, story and piece of text on this site belongs to Maud Moon. Buying a canvas gives you the piece, not the design. You may not copy, reproduce, resell, print or use our designs commercially without written permission. Sharing a photograph of your own wall is not only allowed, it is very welcome.
9. Product appearance
Colour on a screen is never exactly colour on canvas. Small variations between your screen and the delivered piece are normal and are not a fault.
10. Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of your order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.
11. Governing law
Dutch law applies. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country. Disputes may be brought before the competent Dutch courts.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published when you place your order.
